Thanksgiving

I am very sorry, but this is the only picture that I took on Thanksgiving. I come from a very Norwegian family and every year I have the job of preparing the lefse. I'm pretty sure my mother is the only one who eats it, but hey it's tradition! We spent the day at my parents farm up north. It was such a special day filled with food, wine, family and kids running everywhere! The best part was that Nick's mother and sister joined us and we were able to have both of our families together. We also had a bit of a snow storm and I hate to say it, but it really helped to put me in the holiday spirit. I hope everyone had an amazing weekend spent with family and friends. :)

Madison

This weekend we took a short road trip to visit Nick's sister in Madison, WI.  This is her last semester at college and this spring she will be moving to Milwaukee to start her career in finance.  We couldn't be more proud of her.  She is a double major with a certificate in Spanish and lead many activities on her campus.  She is an amazing aunt to our son and we had the best time exploring the city with her, even if it was just for a couple of days.

Goodbye Fall, Hello Winter

This week winter has definitely made its presence. We have had some flurries and the air is crisp. I wonder if we will get snow by Thanksgiving. Last year was surprisingly warm for Minnesota.

This weekend we are visiting Nick's sister in Madison. I am so excited to see her! This is her last semester at the University and we couldn't be more proud of her. I promise to post pictures.

HALLOWEEN

Since Thanksgiving is almost around the corner, I thought I would share some photos of our Halloween.  To say that Henry was obsessed is an understatement.  Between the books, pumpkins, parties, decorations, costumes and of course Trick-o-Treating for candy, he could not get enough.  Once in his sleep I heard him softly saying "my Halloween party".  Redicoulous and precious at the same time.  I hope everyone had as much fun as we did this year!
