Weekend Rewind

What a busy weekend! Friday we took a quick trip to Ikea. I love Ikea. I wish I didn't love it as much as I do, but I love it. I then decided very late that we should drive up north to stay at my parent’s farm while Nick is still out of town djing the NBA All Star game. We had so much fun taking walks and sleigh rides through the woods. My dad made waffles every morning. YUM! I also had an amazing chance to meet up with a very old friend. It had been eight years since we last saw each other and spent four hours catching up about family, work and kids. Unfortunately, we were so busy talking and laughing that I forgot to take pictures. Early Breakfast

This morning we had A LOT of time to kill after dropping Nick off at the airport before heading downtown for work/daycare. We ended up meeting my mom at Turtle Bread Co on Chicago for a very early 6 am breakfast. I had the usual chocolate croissant and coffee. Henry had yogurt and a banana, but as you can see he also preferred my croissant. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Minneapolis. They make all of their bread, pastries, soups and sandwich's by scratch. Yum!

Whatta Guy!!!

I just wanted to take a moment and say how proud I am of my fiancé Nick aka DJ Mad Mardigan. I don't know how he does it, but he finds the time to balance a career and a business all while being the most amazing dad to our son Henry. Right now he is in Orlando DJing the NBA All Star game. Go Nick!
