ZZZZzzzzz

Oh Henry. What happened? One minute you are sleeping for 5 hours at a time and then 3 weeks ago you decide to get up every 40 minutes. This is why I am up so early on a Sunday. Usually Nick, the bump and I take this time to snuggle and sleep in together, but I have learned that without me Henry sleeps a lot better. Maybe I am cramping his style. Maybe we should get a bigger bed.

Anyways, I would love to add some photos of the bumps first Christmas, but I can't find the charger for my new camera...I will find it today! Until then here is one of my favorite photos of the bump and I this fall at the Turtle Bread.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend full of peaceful, uninterrupted sleep!

Thank God for Thursday!

I can't believe it is Thursday already! WooHoo!
How are everyones resolutions going? I am proud to say that I have been very good at keeping mine, well if you don't count a work Happy Hour where I had a winter ale, 2 chicken wings and a couple of onion rings. I Hope all your work weeks are flying by as fast as mine. Here is a picture of the bump being silly... such a personality already!

Happy Thursday!

2011

In the past I have never taken resolutions seriously, but this year I feel excited about promising myself, Nicholas and Henry new starts and better endings. Here is my list of things to make happen in 2011. Happy New Year My Friends!

1. Eat more organic foods.
2. Be "greener".
3. Learn how to knit.
4. Take on some form of exercise that gets me PUMPED!
5. Clean more.
6. Really learn how to use my camera to the best of it's ability.
7. Take more pictures.
8. Read more.
9. Take a class with Henry that involves music, exercise or art. Or all three!
10. Travel more, even if it's just to the next city.
11. Call friends more often.
12. Be a better friend.
13. Don't just buy organic baby food, make it.
14. Cook more.
15. Learn more about wine.
16. Start a journal. Maybe Henry will want to read it some day.
17. Visit my dad more often.
18. Take more trips to the cabin during the summer.
20. And finally to blog more! Especially about trying to accomplish the list above.

Here is a picture of the bump. Can you believe he is 5 1/2 months already?!?

Oh Henry!

I have to share this night with the world!

My dear little Henry slept trough the entire night! Well.... almost. The little man slept for 5 hours, I fed and changed him and then he went back down for 4!!! If you would have asked me if this would ever happen 3 days ago I would have said your crazy.

I don't care if this is just a one time occurrence, or a little sneak peak of the future :). Thank you Henry for the well needed rest :).

Introducing the Bump!

I would like to introduce everyone to our little bump... his name is Henry! He blessed us with his appearance on July 20th (Grandma Debra's Birthday!) at 10:24 am. He was bigger than expected weighing in at 7lbs 3oz! We couldn't feel more lucky ... he his happy and very healthy :). I look forward to writing more frequently about our adventures as a new family!

This is the two of us seconds after Henry was born. I am so happy Nick took this picture... he captured such an amazing moment.

Here is Nicholas looking as excited and happy as ever!

Well I hear the little guy waking up. More to come later!

Here's some beautiful things!

For all who have been waiting... here is a picture of my growing bump! We are 18 weeks along and other than the unexpected headaches I feel wonderful! Right now I have put down the books and spend my time daydreaming about the baby instead of reading about it. In two weeks we find out the sex of this little gorgeous thing and I seriously feel like I can't wait a day longer! Just for fun I added some other pictures of new and beautiful things in Nick and I's life.

Our puppy Lucy!

One of the roses Nick's mother gave me a couple of days ago.

I wish everyone a great weekend!

Hello Again!

Hello! I have decided to start blogging again...this time with a whole new perspective. As most of our friends and family know, Nick and I are expecting our first child this July and we couldn't be more excited! I plan to write about our new adventure and each little bump along the way!

Im going to start with a list of things I'm looking forward to this Spring and thrilled to hear what you all are getting excited for as well!

A house full of fresh peonies... The flowers I have began to adore...

Decorating our nursery. Ideas are welcome!

Beginning a recipe box filled with my grandmothers' dishes...

Rainy day walks...I can't wait to smell the fresh outdoors coming back to life after what seems to be one of the longest winters of my life!

And last but not least... A new pair of green Hunter boots to accompany me on those rainy day walks...

That's it for now... But I look forward to writing again very soon!
